PASTARIGET - SVANEKE
Receiver of Børsen’s food diploma for best taste and quality
At Frennegård that is idyllically located right outside Svaneke, farmer Finn Harild cultivates durum wheat. The durum wheat is grinded into flour which is a part of the pasta production that is run by his wife Susanne Bloch. The pasta is quality pasta characterised by its taste, bite, and the fact that it fills you up double compared with normal pasta. The pasta is so good that it received Børsen’s food diploma for best taste and quality.
The intention of Pastariget is not to try to produce Italian pasta. Instead, the focus is on producing Danish pasta of the highest quality possible. Pastariget uses a lot of different flavours including wild garlic, beetroot, chilli, sweet basil, and lemon.
