Bornholms Valsemølle is a family owned company that was founded in 1920 by Emil Jespersen. The interest for milling and quality flour has currently been handed down in the family for three generations. At Bornholms Valsemølle, quality has a higher priority than capacity, and all grain is grinded very carefully.
Both organic and conventional flour grinded on roller or stone grinding mill is produced. The species of grain varies from traditional Danish wheat and rye to more exotic kinds like spelt, durum, wheat flour from Öland, Manitoba, and Emmer. New products are launched continuously. Selected farmers on Bornholm mainly cultivate the grain which makes it easy to trace the products from the beginning to the end.
